The Lady’s First Song turns 10!

Happy 10th birthday to our debut EP “The Lady’s First Song”!
Below is a -for that time very HD- video of us recording it at BigMouth Music Nijmegen.

Some fun facts on the EP?

We threw an awesome releaseparty for this one at Plein79 in Den Bosch, where our good friends of Discourse Avenue opened the evening with an intense set. We didn’t get a cake.

The album title is taken from a W.B. Yeats poem, of which you can find a part under the tray.

The album was recorded as a four piece, but Guy joined the band shortly before we released the CD.

The song title “Love For Fire” was taken from the Alkaline Trio song “This Could Be Love”.

“Tomorrow Starts Where Sorrow Ends” used to be the opener to our set for years. The track was also featured on the CD sampler that came with Up Magazine years ago.

“Mrs. Insane” was entered at a MySpace competition by EA SPORTS (thanks to whoever did that!) and we won. We got invited to their head office in the Netherlands, got some free games and an Epiphone Les Paul Custom. Sweet!
